The Board of Directors of The Greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce has adopted the following Goals and Objectives for 1996-97.

They reflect the Chamber's on-going commitment to make Bethesda-Chevy Chase a preeminent place in which to live and thrive.

Each Goal and Objective has been assigned to the appropriate Vice President for implementation within a specific timetable through committees, forums and task forces under his or her direction with the support of the Assistant Vice Presidents and Board members assigned to their areas.

  • Objective: Acquire Active Committee Participation of County Department of Economic Development Representative
  • Objective: Repeal Chamber Policy Forbidding Support for Specific Development Projects
  • Objective: Win Approval of & Optimum Benefit from Conference Center
  • Objective: Gain Optimum Economic Benefit from 1997 Kemper Open/U.S. Open Golf Tournaments
  • Objective: Gain Optimum Economic Benefit from 1997 Presidential Inaugural
  • Objective: Gain Greater Cooperation Among Chambers of Commerce in Montgomery County in Economic Development
