• Join thousands of area commuters on Friday, May 28 for a celebration of bicycling as a clean, fun and healthy way to get to work!  Bethesda Transportation Solutions invites you to try bicycling to work as an alternative to solo driving. Bike to Work Day is a FREE event for all cyclists to enjoy.

• Founded in 1990, the Come Back to Bethesda Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show and Family Day has attracted NASCAR celebrities, International Hot Rod Association world champions, athletes, and car and truck owners from all over the DC Metropolitan area. Held in conjunction with Taste of Bethesda, approximately 40,000 people visit the event on the first Saturday in October each year.
   
• Bethesda's famous food and music festival, brings over 55 restaurants and four stages of entertainment to Bethesda's Woodmont Triangle. Each year, more than 40,000 attendees sample the delicious restaurants, enjoy the live entertainment and visit the kid's corner for face painting and arts & crafts. The event is held along Norfolk, Fairmont, St. Elmo, Cordell and Del Ray Avenues in Bethesda's Woodmont Triangle. Taste of Bethesda is located just three blocks from the Bethesda Metro.
   
• Every Thanksgiving for the past 27 years, thousands of runners have gathered in Bethesda to run in the Turkey Chase in support of the YMCA's Youth and Family Services, YMCA Bethesda-Chevy Chase and the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rotary Club Foundation. You, your family and friends are invited to participate in one of our three great races. Our USATF-certified 10K race and 2 mile fun run/walk are open to the entire family. Our 50m Tot-Trot is open to kids 8 and under. Join us to chase our Turkey mascot while 'racing' on the infield track. Every child in the Tot Trot will win a prize.
