Since its inception in 1926 as the Bethesda Chamber of Commerce, this organization – known today as The Greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce – has been recognized and respected for its impressive stature in the community. With its record of extraordinary economic development and community development throughout the years, the Chamber has earned its position in the region as the oldest and largest business organization in Montgomery County. With its rich legacy of leadership, be assured the Chamber will continue to build a greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase area.

The Greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber is an active chamber that looks to advance its members’ growth and prosperity, and provide increased opportunities and value for its membership. The Chamber advocates for and unites the business community, conveys business interests to policy-makers and advances the region’s economic health. To carry out this mission, the Chamber serves as the voice of business and involves the public sector in community leadership.

In addition to vibrant committee work in Advocacy, Community Development, Membership Services and Membership Development, The Greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber provides unique opportunities for members. This includes our special events including the Annual Legislative Gala, the annual Real Estate Update, the Monument Bank Golf Classic, and the Annual Installation and Awards Dinner. Our monthly events include our Quick Connects (new member orientations), Monthly After Hours, Power Networking Breakfasts, and Business Luncheons. Our popular events provide our members an opportunity to network and meet new people, no matter what their schedule allows.
