Volunteer Opportunities

There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available to our members.

• ANNUAL EVENTS – The Goodwill Dinner, Career Partnership Day and Back to Bethesda to mention a few. See more here.

• GROUPS - We currently offer six groups of focused interest, each with a regular meeting. All members welcome to attend.  Non-members are welcome to attend a combination of three meetings or events before they will be asked to join the Chamber Membership. • LEADERSHIP - We believe that the young professionals in our community have great potential to be business leaders tomorrow.  With that in mind we are committed to fostering the leadership development of these young professionals through the NextExec Group.  Established professionals are welcome to attend this group and meet with the next generation.

• AMBASSADORS for the BCC Chamber are an extension of the Membership Group focusing on connecting our guests and members to all aspects of the Chamber.

Welcoming Guests and Non-Members
Our Ambassadors are excited to speak with individuals and businesses who are considering Chamber membership.  Our Ambassadors provide a first-hand account of what it means to be a member of the BCC Chamber.  They are happy to share their own experiences, including why they joined the Chamber, what value they’ve received, and why they see the Chamber as an important asset in our business community.
 
Connecting with Fellow Members
Our Ambassadors provide a valuable bridge between the Chamber and our membership as they reach out to their fellow members.  The Ambassadors help connect members to events, committees, and with appropriate Chamber staff to get any questions answered.  They aim to raise your connection to the Chamber to ensure you are receiving the ultimate value from your membership.

The next time you attend a Chamber event, watch for these individuals who will be wearing blue “Ambassador Ribbons.”  They are there to welcome you, introduce you to others and get you the information you need on Chamber involvement.
