Other Committees-Groups meet periodically to discuss issues of common concern. These groups include: Commercial Real Estate, Cultural Arts and Wellness in the Workplace. New committees are still being formed.
Land Planning-Concentrates on the master/sector plans in the Bethesda-Chevy Chase area to ensure that long-term land planning is consistent with the needs of the business community.
Legislative Relations-Seeks to improve the climate for business by developing a rapport with elected officials, responding to proposed legislation and formulating positions on county, state, and federal issues.
Marketing-Enhances and promotes awareness of Chamber activities and services. Plans and organizes income producing activities, including the annual Monte Carlo Night and Spring Golf Tournament fundraisers.
Membership-Encourages growth of the Chamber by implementing programs and services to convey the importance of membership and member participation.
Small Business-Acts on the needs and concerns of all Chamber members, with emphasis on small business. Free management assistance and specialized counseling are offered through the SCORE program.
Parking/Transportation-Parking/Transportation, Deals with issues including road, side-walk and parking facilities repair, construction, or closings; light-rail links; traffic levels of service, and transportation management.
