Alexander Assaley and Lawrence Kotchek

At a recent B-CC Chamber committee meeting, committee members were discussing visibility and effective ways to achieve maximum coverage for minimum cost.  It was mentioned that taking advantage of the full color, bulk run pricing at chamber member Print 1 for postcards was a great idea.  Alexander Assaley of AFS Financial Group, heard this and contacted Lawrence Kotchek of Print 1 for more information.  Since that time Alex and Lawrence have partnered to produce three “gang run” postcard printings for Alex’s company.  “Not only has the product been professionally done and quickly turned around, our company has saved over $700 in printing costs in these three print jobs alone.  I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Print 1 and Lawrence to anyone.”

Dr. Stanley O. Mayer and Gus Moyer

Recently at one of the Chamber’s monthly Power Networking Breakfasts, Dr. Stanley O. Mayer, DDS of Bethesda, MD heard Gus Moyer of DELMarVA Judgment Services provide his quick business introduction at one of the structured "business rounds" of the breakfast. Not long after the event, Dr. Mayer needed help in recovering monies from his uncollected judgments and contacted Gus. This first meeting at the Chamber’s monthly breakfast resulted in satisfying several judgments and Dr. Mayer continues to use Gus Moyer's services for other cases.

Suzanne Kim D.D.S. and EagleBank

Suzanne H. Kim, D.D.S. attended several networking events upon joining the Chamber and she was constantly being told how everyone “loved”  EagleBank.  Great timing, as the bank Dr. Kim was doing business with was about to merge with a large regional bank.

She transferred her business to EagleBank after meeting, Tom Murphy and Kai Hills.  They, as do all of the other employees, exemplified the personal and professional relationship that she was looking for from a bank.

During Tom Murphy’s Chamber presidency, he would often joke about breaking a tooth or having a tooth ache!  After actually breaking a tooth, it was not longer a joking matter.  Tom’s dental dilemma was soon remedied by Dr. Kim.  Not too long after that, Tom’s wife and son became patients and he continually refers patients to her from the bank.

Chamber membership does have its rewards.  You can always count on the Chamber for finding a particular service.  Chamber membership = reliability and credibility in the business community.
